Rusprix Award for Double Degree master UM en Tomsk State University
The TOMA (Tomsk-Maastricht) Double Master Program (DDP) of Maastricht University and Tomsk State University (Russia) have been awarded the Rusprix Award. The two universities have developed and implemented the TOMA Double Degree Master Program (DDP). The DDP will award the Master of Physics and the Master of Biomedicine (University of Maastricht, FHML, Maastricht, The Netherlands). Students who enter this DDP will first spend one year at TSU and then transfer to UM for the second academic year.
The Award is granted for the associated outstanding contribution to the development of Russian-Dutch cooperation in Education.
The main aim of the RusPrix Award is the encouragement of Dutch companies, public organizations and individuals of politics and culture, whom achieved exceeding results in the development of business- and cultural relations with the Russian Federation.
The Awards ceremony will take place on June 24 in the Palace Hotel in Noordwijk aan Zee. The delegation of UM, headed by the chair of the UM Taskforce Russia, prof. Herman Kingma, and a delegation of TSU headed by the rector, Eduard Galazhinsky will travel to Noordwijk to receive the award. The RusPrix Award is conducted under the patronage of Embassy of Russian Federation to The Netherlands.
